However, after decades of development in the domestic inorganic salt industry, most enterprises have experienced overcapacity, and the problems of low-end products and resource-based products and high energy consumption are serious. The existing development model and the low-carbon economy are very contradictory. protruding.

 

According to the report, due to high energy consumption and high environmental pollution, the Ministry of Environmental Protection has listed more than 80 kinds of inorganic salt products such as yellow phosphorus, chromic anhydride, sodium dichromate, sodium cyanide and sodium sulfide into high pollution. The list of “double high” products with high environmental risks, the development of these products has been restricted by environmental protection policies.

 

Therefore, Chang Yizhi believes that under the current environmental protection pressure and the rising energy prices, China's inorganic salt industry with high energy consumption characteristics must achieve sustainable development during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period. The elimination of production capacity, adjustment of industrial structure and product structure to achieve the transformation of existing development methods.
